| Extended Hours (Temporary) Due to the extreme heat and black flag conditions, fitness centers at MCRD and MCAS will be opened at 0400 vice normal hours of 0500 Mon through Fri. In addition, the closing time for the swimming pool at MCRD will be extended from 1900 to 2100 on Tues and Thurs. These extended hours are temporary but will be continued as the weather conditions dictate and usage justifies. |

| Aug 25 South Carolina Aquarium The SC Aquarium, located in Charleston, on the historic Charleston Harbor, featuring the Great Ocean Tank which holds over 385,000 gallons of water and contains over 300 animals. The Aquarium also features a Discovery Lab, where patrons are able to touch horseshoe crabs, starfish, and other marine animals. The price of this trip is $30.00 per person. Children ages 2-11 are 22.00. This includes roundtrip bus transportation from Parris Island and your admission into the SC Aquarium. The last day to sign up will be August 17. |
