| MCCS Coordinators |
MCCS Coordinators act as MCCS liaison to the Area Commander and staff of a geographic area at MCRD Parris Island/ERR and MCAS Beaufort. They also serve as conduit through which the commander and staff gain knowledge of, and direct access to, the full spectrum of services offered by MCCS. A Coordinator is also the liaison for individual Active Duty members and MCCS services.
Additionally, they plan, develop and coordinate MCCS support of active duty military personnel and family needs. Area Coordinators implement policies or guidance with focus on coordination of programs, services and activities. They are instrumental in the monitoring of programs and initiating corrective action to ensure unit support by MCCS programs. The Area Coordinators also support multiple commands’ family readiness programs and provides training within other areas of family readiness. |

Becky Salazar
MCCS Coordinator, MCRD Parris Island/ERR |
Mrs. Becky Salazar is proud to say Beaufort is her home! More importantly, Becky is from a Marine Corps family of 28 ½ amazing years! Becky graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Psychology and minor in Education. She taught school for four years, served three years in the US Army where she was the first Distinguished Female Honor Graduate in a male/female training environment. She then worked for two years in the Education Office, and two years with Marine Corps Family Team Building as the LifeSkills Program Trainer. She is a proud LINKS mentor and World Class Customer Service Facilitator. Becky and her husband enjoy raising their four year old daughter together.
As the MCCS Coordinator for Parris Island, Becky prides herself in being the liaison between active duty members and all divisions of MCCS. Her main focus aboard the Depot is maintaining and improving the quality of life for Marines, Sailors and their families. One way she will provide support to each command is working closely with the Family Readiness Officers to provide quality functions such as: holiday parties, family days, and various other events. Becky works closely with Outdoor Recreation to provide rental equipment for such functions at no cost to the unit. Becky also attends the Single Marine Program meetings to stay current with the changing needs of our service members. She enjoys receiving feedback regarding the MCCS activities and any quality of life issues aboard the installation. Becky has an open door and welcomes both suggestions and ideas for enriching our military community.
Becky’s door is open to all ranks and she stands ready to assist.
If you have questions, comments or suggestions that Becky can assist with, please contact her.
