Area Coordinators

Area Coordinators act as MCCS liaison to the Area Commander and staff of a geographic area at MCRD Parris Island/ERR and MCAS Beaufort. They also serve as conduit through which the commander and staff gain knowledge of, and direct access to, the full spectrum of services offered by MCCS. An Area Coordinator is also the liaison for individual Active Duty members and MCCS services.

Additionally, they plan, develop and coordinate MCCS support of active duty military personnel and family needs. Area Coordinators implement policies or guidance with focus on coordination of programs, services and activities. They are instrumental in the monitoring of programs and initiating corrective action to ensure unit support by MCCS programs. The Area Coordinators also support multiple commands’ family readiness programs and provides training within other areas of family readiness.
