Junior Warrior Day: The intent of this program is to help children successfully and positively cope and adapt to Marine Corps culture as children of Marines and Sailors. Readiness and Deployment Support Training provides knowledge and skills to military personnel and their families in an effort to enhance military life. The ultimate goal is to prepare our military families for the unique challenges of a deployment in addition to maintaining a constant state of readiness independent of deployment.

The Readiness & Deployment Support Trainer (or RDST serves as the direct liaison to the Family Readiness Officers, assisting with various family readiness matters, providing feedback for current trends and issues, and coordinating with other MCFTB programs to facilitate fulfillment of unit-specific family readiness events. The RDSTs unit support remains constant for the Marines and families regardless of the deployment cycle.
